F6 BRANOboard (Baking cardboard)

Characteristics

Based on bleached cardboard approved in accordance with the relevant guidelines or on fine backed corrugated cardboard, BRANOboard is a light and extremely sturdy baking board that is also available in a greaseproof version. Due to its high rigidity, BRANOboard can be shaped into a large number of shapes. Thanks to its special coating with excellent release properties, BRANOboard provides an ideal base during the manufacturing and baking process for a large number of food applications in the following areas:

 

  • Bread, cakes and pastries industry
  • Pre-baked foods
  • Refrigerated convenience foods
  • Deep-frozen foods
  • Meat products

 

Application examples

BRANOboard can even be used during the production process as a transport base for dough and cakes. Once the baking process is over, the product is packaged together with the base and marketed ready-to-serve.

End users then bake or warm the deep-frozen products, pre-baked products, cheese products, pizzas, quiches, bread or roasts on BRANOboard; when it‘s ready, the product can be removed quickly and easily from the base without residue.

 

Paper Quality and Printing

  • Basic weight: 250, 290, 350 und 390 (greaseproof) g/sqm
  • Double faced corrugated cardboard (E-flute)

 

BRANOboard is available unprinted or with a single or multi-coloured printed motif according to the customer‘s specifications.

 

Available sizes

Sheets and a large number of purpose-shaped baking bases such as baking dishes, trays, and cake, roast and bread forms, pizza bases and gateau bases are available on request.

 

Physiology

BRANOboard has no effect on health. All of the materials used for BRANOboard comply with recommendation XXXVI/2 BgVV of the German Federal Institute for Health Protection and Veterinary Medicine as well as regulations of the Foodstuffs and Consumer Goods Act.

 

Disposal

BRANOboard can be introduced into an energy-recovery process or disposed of along with the household waste.
