Silverbrite is a bleached kraft paper with a special active agent coating for the protection against tarnishing and colouring of precious metals such as silver. The active agents in Silverbrite absorb corrosive air pollutants that may exist within a packaging system, a storage box or within a closed area and may cause damage to the precious metal.

Precious metals such as silver are mainly used in the areas of control- and connection technology as plug- and contact connections or as chips in the field of renewable energy, controlling units for airplanes, automotive or telecommunications. By protecting the parts with Silverbrite, a flawless functionality of the connections can be ensured.
