30 years of BRANOpac

On the 16th of January BRANOpac celebrated 30 years of existence.

30 Jahre BRANOpac

Even though the year 2017 just started, it is already very special for BRANOpac. Why? It marks the 30st year of existence for the medium-sized company from Lich with about 150 employees and a training rate of ten percent. Enough reasons to take a look back:

Taking the history of origins of the traditional company, one has to go back to the year 1875. Two retailers founded the packaging wholesaler Brangs + Heinrich that still exists today. The wholesaler further developed to a strongly growing and expanding company. One wholesale dealer and with it a production site developed in Eschborn in the middle of Germany. With view on this it was the year 1987, when BRANOpac separated itself from Brangs + Heinrich as an independent affiliated company. Through the employees’ innovative thinking, the experience and knowhow as well as the focus on a continuous high-quality BRANOpac was from then on able to maintain and expand its position on the market. 1994 an expansion of the production became necessary which triggered the construction of a new production building. The opening of the new administration building resulting in the final relocation from Eschborn to Lich followed nine years later.

One of the utmost company goals since then has been the long-term safeguarding of the production location. The growing internationalization of the company gains more and more importance as well. Through a number of subsidiaries in India, Italy, France, China and the USA as well as various sales associates worldwide and exports to over 40 countries BRANOpac is now represented all around the globe.

Together with the “BRANOfilter” from Dietenhofen, Germany, BRANOpac is under the roof of the “BRANOholding”. Through this connection to the worldwide operating “BRANOgroup” synergies can be used at its best in order to ensure the presence of the companies in the international market.

To secure the top position in the market, BRANOpacs operating business is divided into four divisions (Businessunits). The biggest part is taken up by the Businessunit BRANOguard with the focus on the production of anti-corrosion protection paper and film as well as masterbatch. The next Businessunit BRANOfood is able to shine with an own Online shop; www.blechrein.de/de/ - offering special baking papers of the brand Blechrein. Technical papers, belonging to the Businessunit BRANOtech, are part of the BRANOpac product portfolio as well.

With an own research & development department and a high-grade laboratory, connected with the Businessunit BRANOscience, it is possible for BRANOpac to support customers through innovations and to realize special customer wishes and requests individually.
