The name "rackelos", which comes from the manic language means "brothers", "children" or "young people", and is a commitment to the region, so is the new sponsorship of both teams in the season 2017/18 from BRANOpac.
For all 46ers fans the season started with the “46ers week“, which ended with the gala on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the BBL, the German Basketball League.
In this week, both teams were also presented around the two-time ex-MVP John Bryant, who surprisingly moved from Monaco to Gießen.
BRANOpac also has a number of surprises in store for this season, which will be announced over the next months.
