Unterstützung Running for children

Covering 200 kilometers and 16,000 meters of altitude on foot in the Himalayas is probably already a challenge for most of us, doing that under competition conditions and within a time frame of only eight days is an affair of the heart for police officer Sven Franke. The reason for this is the project behind the run. For a number of years now, Sven Franke has been facing extreme runs and competitions (such as the "Ironman" in Mallorca) to raise funds for the Outpatient Children's Hospice in Gießen.

This year, he went to the "Mustang Trail Race" in Nepal to compete in a group of 35 starters. With the race this year, he collected donations of € 20,000 – a sum that helped the Outpatient Children's Hospice to realize the purchase of a new car for patients visits. In addition, € 2,100 were donated to a local school, the amount of money for the annual salary of a teacher in Nepal. BRANOpac was one of the proud sponsors of the project "Running for children" and is happy about the great result.
