Last October, we already reported on the visit of a young group of Ugandan school students to the BRANOpac GmbH in Lich. The visit took place as part of the project "Kinderkulturkarawane" by UNICEF, which enabled the young people the trip through Germany. The visit to the company in Lich focused on providing an insight look into the German training system. All participants are part of the "Sosolya Ugundu Family Academy", an organization in Kampala (the capital of Uganda) dedicated to helping children from the slums of Kampala to attend school and giving them a place where they can live together peacefully.

It was a visit that left a lasting impression at BRANOpac. For this reason, the decision was taken to continue supporting the project. With a donation, the company enables a total of seven children in Uganda to attend school for the coming school year. In Uganda, education, as it is standard practice for many of us, is not self-evident and is not possible without the appropriate financial support. We are very pleased to be able to lay a foundation for the later lives of those children with relatively little effort.
