Our trainees Laura Schäfer and Mona Zimmer won the national DECA-competition.

Azubis gewinnen nationalen Marketingwettbewerb

Last year, our apprentices Laura Schäfer and Mona Zimmer developed an advertising concept (including a commercial) for our Blechrein online shop as part of the marketing class together with three classmates of the Max-Weber-School Gießen. This allowed the group to qualify for the national DECA competition, which was held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in Oldenburg at BBS Wechloy, a vocational training center for business, law and administration. DECA is a US marketing organization that serves over 200,000 students and teachers in the US, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Mexico, China, Spain and Germany. Since 2001, there have been annual marketing competitions in Germany in which students from vocational schools present marketing concepts in English that they have developed in their schools in the weeks and months leading up to the competitions. A total of 26 groups competed against each other, the best three were allowed to present their advertising concept again in the final in front of a large audience and a newly assembled jury. After the presentations "Blechrein", "KEVO" and "Less mistex. Tipp-Ex" the name of the winner's presentation was "Blechrein". We congratulate to this success.
