The BRANOperl Box holds meltable and sticky materials in their hot state. The mass cools and solidifies inside the carton – thanks to the special coating on the inside, the solid contents can then be removed easily and almost residue-free. A typical application is the transport of bitumen.

What sets the BRANOperl Box apart
The BRANOperl Box is a specialty carton for the transport and storage of meltable and sticky materials. It is filled with the hot, often sticky mass, which cools and solidifies inside. The cooled mass can then be transported and stored as a solid block.
A simple folding technique allows BRANOperl Boxes to be set up quickly and easily; they are ready for filling immediately afterwards. Once filled, the mass cools and solidifies directly in the carton. Matching lids are available as an option: they protect the contents against dirt and dust and make the filled box more stable. Removing the contents takes only a few movements – the special coating on the inside ensures that the solidified material comes out of the carton easily and almost residue-free.
The BRANOperl Box is designed for a maximum filling temperature of 220 °C and ensures reliable handling at high temperatures.

Wherever a material is filled hot and passed on cold, the BRANOperl Box provides the packaging – from filling through transport to removal.
The BRANOperl Box is suitable for materials that flow when warm and form a solid body once cooled. With sticky masses in particular, removal is otherwise the problem – the special coating on the inside solves it.
The transport of bitumen is the typical application, and the reason why the BRANOperl Box is also known in practice as a bitumen carton or bitumen box. The bitumen is poured into the set-up carton, where it cools and solidifies. Thanks to the special coating, the contents can then be removed easily and almost residue-free.
With the optional lid, the filled boxes are protected against dirt and dust and additionally stabilised. This makes the BRANOperl Box suitable for shipping as well as for storage.
Material & recovery
Material and disposal of the BRANOperl Box
The BRANOperl Box is made of paper and therefore of a renewable raw material. On request it is available FSC-certified. The recycling code is PAP 20.
Emptied BRANOperl Boxes are suitable for energy recovery. Cleaning, as required with drums, is not necessary.
For your disposal routes this means: no hazardous waste of the kind drums produce, and no cleaning effort in the process.
